Inédit Joaillier once again awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label

What does the "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" label mean?

The "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" (EPV) label is an official French label, created in 2005 and issued under the authority of the French Ministry of the Economy and Finance, to distinguish French companies with craftsmanship and industrial know-how deemed to be of excellence.

The aim is to label that which contributes to the enhancement of heritage, in other words, the rarity, notoriety and originality of products, or the possession of a famous name or brand.

Companies must also possess rare and well-known know-how.

Mastering traditional or highly technical techniques requires special skills. The gesture and the technique of the gesture are the object of the protection offered by this label.

The final criterion is the reputation of the company's cultural dimension (way of working, premises with historical or architectural value, etc.) and the length of time the company has been established geographically.

The Institut National des Métiers d'Art is responsible for examining applications, in close collaboration with the relevant government departments and consular establishments. The final decision rests with the regional prefects.

In 2012, INEDIT obtained its first EPV label.

Compliance with all these criteria enabled us to renew this label in 2017 and again this year.

Today, Normandy boasts 62 companies with the "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" (Living Heritage Company) label, covering a wide range of sectors.

INEDIT is the only artisanal jewelry house to hold this label for the whole of Normandy.

Our workshops are located at 70, rue Jeanne d'Arc in Rouen and since 2007, we have opened a second jewelry store with a second design and manufacturing workshop at Place Saint Germain des Près in the 6th arrondissement of Paris.

Thanks to this Parisian showcase, we've been able to develop an international clientele that enables us to export our region, Normandy, all over the world.

Whether in Rouen or Paris, all trades are represented.

We are fortunate to be surrounded by a team of 14 employees: designers, gemologists, jewelers and setters, all passionate about their craft.

These two structures enable us to master the design and manufacture of all our collections without subcontracting, as well as creations based on our customers' stones.

As part of our commitment, we attach great importance to ensuring that our know-how is passed on to future generations.

So it's always with the same pleasure that we train young people to ensure the continuity of our profession.

INEDIT is a family business that Carole and I founded in Rouen in 1984. In 2024, we will celebrate our 40th anniversary.

Carole joins me and our entire team in thanking you for your loyalty, which has enabled us to be with you through the high points of your life, but also to live our passion.

With all our gratitude,

Carole and Frank Margueron"
